Married filing jointly, no kids
$2K of about $60k total income was self-employment income; the rest was employee income taxed normally.
$3.4K was made as a work-from-home employee using the same home office as my $2K contractor income
We moved mid-year (also moving my home office)
My home office is a desk in our living room (yes, I meet the regular/exclusive requirements)
Question 1: I'm struggling with this situation in TurboTax. Is it worth it to continue to hash it out myself or should I hire a CPA even though my freelance income wasn't even that substantial?
Question 2: Given that taxes were withheld from $60K worth of income and we've received a refund the last couple of years, does it make any sense that TurboTax would be telling me we still owe $160 on my $2K?
